Gypsy Caravan – Styled Photo Shoot

I have always had a romantic image of the vintage caravans and have longed for one of my own, so when the opportunity arose to style my own shoot in an authentic gypsy caravan I jumped at the chance!

I hope that you enjoy them and can see why I love them so much.

I am branching out and looking to do more set designing, which I’ve always had an interest in, and styling for photo shoots and events.

My greatest forte is table designing! I will be sharing a fairy shoot I recently worked on.

For examples of table designing click here to see a previous blog post – the photos are from a tea party photos which was a charity event held at my home for children with learning diabilities.

I’ve always been very theatrical at Christmas in my home. In the past my Christmas table an decor have gone into magazines – Perfect Home magazine. I will share that in an upcoming post too!

I particulary liked the styling I did at a wedding of my daugters friend. It was very last minute. I found the barn where the reception was held – I styled the table and decorated parts of the barn with beautiful Indian saris in vibrant colours which looked very striking againt the wooden beams and ivy in the barn.

It was the cheapest wedding at very short notice as I mentioned, but a guest said it was the most beautiful wedding she had ever seen!

Greens and mauves and reds and pinks and orange – it was so wonderful in this wooden barn! I dont need a lot of time to beconme inspired, it just comes to me like a magic wand!

I love to create magic and atmospheres because of my aritstic mind, deep imagination, am playful and have a love of colour! I am looking now to vere away form the textile art into this area.

I must admit I am a shopaloic, but without my eye for beautigul things I wouldn’t have all the props! I feel less guilty about my shopping sprees in markets when I see the beauty that can be manifested from them, and when it can be enjoyed by a wide audience.
